Elmer Mik is by origins a scout leader, youth worker and a trainer with passion, energy and a dynamic touch on an international level. He has a long experience in working as a scout leader and youth worker. He has more than 25 years of experience as a Scout leader and he guided groups of 20 up to 5000.
He has studied for a social degree, during his college years he studied in the Netherlands and in England. The knowledge he gained during these years was brought into practice as a hotel recreational worker in Spain. When back in the Netherlands, he continued to gather experience whilst working at the Holland Evenementen groep as an activity leader.
After this path took him to a commercial job where he gained his experience in coaching, communication and initiative. He never left his passion for the outdoor learning and non formal education. He realized that his passion lies more with the coaching and training than being a sales person. he made a decision and he joined the MPSE to teach other scout leaders all the hard skills he had gained during his years.
At this time the areas of his expertice are among others: personal development, seeing what the challenges are for every person, soft skills, hard skills in the outdoors, coaching, self-awareness and communication.
Despite his long experience in the field he is always eager to learn & develop his skills even more. Therefore he is always looking to grow by following courses on soft skills, systemic leadership, Emotional Intelligence, personal development methods & other personal growth areas.
